TLT - AI & Artwork Use Policy
All tattoo artists at True Love Tattoos do not consent to their work being used to train AI models, generate derivative AI artwork, imitate
their style, or create new commercial or tattooable designs without written agreement.
Every tattoo, drawing, flash design, stencil, consultation sketch, digital design, custom artwork, photograph and visual concept created by them is part of their creative practice and intellectual property.
You must not upload, submit, scan, copy, reproduce or otherwise use our tattoo designs, artwork, flash, stencils, drawings, photographs or finished tattoos in any artificial intelligence system without our prior written permission.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Uploading our tattoos or artwork to AI image generators.
Using our work to create new tattoo designs through AI.
Using our work to train, refine, prompt, reference or influence AI systems.
Creating AI copies, variations, “in the style of” versions, redraws or extensions of our work.
Selling, licensing, sharing or distributing AI-generated images based on our work.
Taking one of our artists’ designs to another tattooist or studio after altering it with AI.
Using our artists’ work as reference material for commercial design, merchandise, prints, logos, NFTs, AI datasets or any other reproduced material.
Purchasing a tattoo, paying a deposit, receiving a consultation drawing, or being tattooed by us does not transfer copyright or ownership of the artwork to you.
If you would like to use one of our designs, photographs or artworks for anything beyond personal sharing, please contact us first.
Permission may be refused, or may require a written licence and fee.
We reserve the right to refuse future work, cancel appointments, retain deposits where appropriate under our booking terms, and/or take further action if our artwork is copied, misused, uploaded to AI systems, commercially exploited, or used in a way that harms the rights or reputation of the artist or studio.
This policy is in place to protect the artists who create the work, the clients who wear original tattoos, and the integrity of tattooing as a human creative practice.
